Description: The Early Reading Intervention Model is designed
to help teachers plan and deliver intensive and powerful
instruction in reading strategies for struggling readers
in the primary grades. This video provides the rationale
for "intervention" instead

and features a live demonstration of a small group reading
session, led by a first grade teacher trained in this
approach.
