About CTN’s Streaming Video

Our streaming video service is designed for use in K-12 classrooms available to teachers and students. Schools have access to over 12000 video clips via the internet. Video can be streamed live in the classroom or used as a preview before downloading a clip. Once a clip is downloaded it may be accessed at any time and incorporated into multiple applications such as Word or Powerpoint. This service brings every subject alive in any educational environment.

The key elements of this service are:

Flexibility — teachers and students can view either an entire video or simply a video
clip. This can be accomplished by streaming or downloading on a Mac or PC platform.

Finding Clips — topics are searchable by subject, keyword, grade or curriculum standard.

Teachers Guides — there are extensive teacher guides and classroom materials that include worksheets and quizzes.

Calendars — there is a calendar of important historical dates linked to video clips for student and teacher usage.
